Lightroom 2 beta differs from full product…

I’ve enjoyed trialling the Lightroom 2 beta. The trial ends on 31 August, so I’m looking at buying the upgrade. I was very interested to see that some tutorials on using the new GRADUATED FILTER are appearing. Very cool………but guess what…….it isn’t in the trial. Yep, it’s a “last minute addition”. Ha ha ha, once again, one of the best bits is left out of the trial version and added as a “hook” to encourage us to buy the full product.

Sheesh! I was gonna buy it, Adobe, really……..

The graduated filter allows you to blend your effects so the changes are seamless. Great, I love it!

But, as a Nikon user, I still love Capture NX2. Lucky I don’t mind paying for good quality software hey?

Capture NX2 gives me better control over raw processing, but for quick fixes and creating excellent flash web pages, Lightroom2 is my choice.

So, I use both…….do guys do that too, or is it something that female geeks are more prone to?
