Pink Galahs fly in for a visit

How cool is this, was making a coffee and 3 pink galahs flew by the kitchen window. A few seconds later they came back and settled at the top of our hill. This photo shows one on our garden seat, and another in the mulberry tree behind. Click on the photo for a larger version

Crumpler Camera Neck Strap

One of my latest purchases is a Camera Strap from Crumpler called Industry Disgrace and it’s sweet!

Very strong, great padding and it is noticeably more comfortable than the standard camera straps.
Even though it has the shaping around the neck area, it’s still very good when you sling the camera across your body. It felt snug and didn’t slip.

I attached it to my new Nikon D700 and took some photos at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat this week.
