Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

I recently attended an Adobe Photoshop LightroomSeminar…..WOW
Aussie photographer Marcus Bell presented, showed us lots of his work and gave a great rundown on how to use Lightroom. His website is www.studioimpressions.com.au
Lightroom is a fantastic combination of file browser and image editor. Like Adobe Bridge on steroids….
I was sold on the new product, was ready to purchase it immediately. But no, no stocks were available yet. You could pay and order at Graphic Plus’s stand in the foyer. How disappointing, especially as I wasn’t able to download the beta that was promised on Adobe’s seminar registration page.
Given a choice, I’d rather buy the boxed software, so I can have a manual to read. Yeah, I’m one of those – I actually RTFM lol. I reckon you pay for the publication, you may as well get it, and RTFM can save you a lot of time finding out how to get the best from the program.

I do like to go to any of the Adobe Roadshows, watching a pro demonstrate stuff is a great way to learn.
